How to use this

The primary theme that will be represented throughout this publication will be to take a product/producer perspective first, while expanding on the operations/consumer perspective as needed, though it is also important to note that not all of these situations are so obviously delineated.

A good example is determining how specifically to tune the logic of a rule. From our (producer) perspective, tuning the rule too specifically may overfit it for certain environments and deprive our users (consumer) of the opportunity to take advantage of the rule. Inversely, tuning it too loosely may lower the efficacy of the rule.

In general, the dual perspective context can be consulted as a reference where needed, but it will also be cross-referenced throughout this publication when considerations are relevant or to add depth to the discussion.
